Dr. Dubiel is an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in elbow and shoulder reconstruction based in Traverse City Michigan. He was educated in mechanical engineering at Michigan Tech and went on to pursue his dream of becoming a physician at Michigan State's College of Human Medicine. Following medical school he trained as an orthopedic surgery resident at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. He went on to graduate from a prestigious fellowship at the Mayo Clinic specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.
Dr. Dubiel performs shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty at Munson Medical Center.
Dr. Dubiel was born and raised in mid-Michigan and enjoys serving the community in Northern Michigan. His background in engineering and extensive medical training allow him to understand complex surgical procedures from both a technical and medical point of view. Outside of professional activities, Dr. Dubiel enjoys mountain biking, fishing, bow hunting and - most importantly - spending time with his wife and kids.

Dr. Dubiel has published articles and written book chapters on the topic of shoulder replacement. He is board certified and a fellow member in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is also faculty at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
